My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Ezra (EFB) and Molly - We meet these two in book 1 and that's when the tension between them starts. He's the foster brother / boss / friend of Killian and she's the childhood neighbor / volunteer employee / best friend of Vera. Ezra is a businessman with his life in order - he's referred to very often as "a man not a boy" and Molly is a graphic designer and artist. He hires her to help with his social media image and art project, which that could have been a great basis for this story but there is a lot more thrown in that really didn't add anything to their romance. Again, this is told first person from the girl's point of view so it's hard to get a clear read on the hero.
Overall Ezra and Molly was a sweet romance but there was just a whole lot going on to make that happen. Also another if you're looking for steamy you need to look elsewhere because it's not here.
I have to say though the use of strike text was
Side Note: I've only read two books by this author but both times the heroes have their life in order and are successful adults with reliable transportation, nice homes, nice careers, adequate money, and lots of confidence and the heroines are, sadly, not.
