Review: The Opposite of You

The Opposite of You The Opposite of You by Rachel Higginson
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Killian (which is just an odd name) and Vera (which was name of our chicken so that was odd) were a fun match. Both are amazing Chefs - he in a five star restaurant, she in a food truck. They butt heads over food and location but eventually realize they're deep attraction and romance happens. Vera had some man troubles in her past that drove her to run away to Europe for a year - we're reminded of this several, several, several times throughout the story. Killian is a great character, maybe since this story is told first person from Vera's point of view, we never really get to see his flaws. Let me say, I liked this story, I didn't LOVE this story but it was a sweet romance. FYI - if you're looking for steamy love scenes, look elsewhere.
