Felix and the Prince by Lucy Lennox
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
I'm well into book 4 of this series so am having to stop and back track to write some reviews:
Why it's a little bit unbelievable but still really good: everyone's gay or bi or at least that is how it seems. This series is based out of a small town in Texas and follows the "Wilde" family who have two patriarchs Doc and Grandpa. Doc was married to a woman at one time and had lots of kids with her, when she died, he married Grandpa and they raised up all the kids. This series is not about those kids. It's about the umpteen hundred Grand kids, mostly "Bill and Shelby's" kids but also this one grandson who is more son than grandson. They all get along wonderfully (which is also another thing that makes this book a bit unbelievable because who gets along that wonderfully with their siblings?)
So with that being the basis of this series, this particular story is about Felix (the grandson who is raised by the grandfathers because he's got a "bad mom") and Lio (the Prince of Liorland / Monaco). Because of who Felix's mom is, he's got issues with paparazzi and based on who Lio is, he has to deal with paparazzi often. They meet during the Christmas holiday while both are at a castle on a deserted island. They planned to be one night stand / fling but feelings happen and they become so much more.
I would recommend this book, obviously I liked it since I've continued to read the series. It's probably my favorite of the series because of how Lio handles Felix's mother. It's a sweet read with real angst and the struggle / love was believable.
